Anan Wildlife Observatory is a favorite spot to view Alaska brown and black bears up close. If you find history more interesting, then Wrangell offers sites to experience Tlingit Native culture such as Chief Shakes Island and Tribal House and Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park.
